Within Your Neighborhood:
Information you post in your neighborhood's NeighborLink community (such as messages, event RSVPs, and profile information) is visible to other verified members of your HOA/neighborhood.
With Service Providers:
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate our service, including:
- SMS delivery services (e.g., Twilio) - for sending text messages
- Cloud hosting providers - for data storage and application hosting
- Analytics providers - to understand service usage (anonymized data only)
Legal Requirements:
We may disclose your information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NeighborLink, our users, or others.
We Never Sell Your Data:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. SMS Communications and Messaging Data
Data Collection for SMS Services:
When you opt-in to receive SMS notifications, we collect and process:
- Your mobile phone number
- Opt-in timestamp and consent records

How We Use SMS Data:

- Message frequency varies based on neighborhood activity (typically 1-20 per month)
- Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply

Compliance and Protection:
- We comply with TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and CTIA Messaging Best Practices
- All SMS communications require explicit opt-in consent

5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including:
